Science has found that the nervous system controls and coordinates all the functions of your body. Your body sends information through the nerves to your brain. Your brain interprets the information from your senses and sends messages back through the nerves to the body. When these messages are disrupted, the body becomes weak and is vulnerable to sickness and disease. Chiropractic care, which focuses on the care of the spine, targets the nerve system. The spine is the point of access to the nerve system because the spinal cord runs down the spine and the nerves exit through it.
Chiropractors focus on the spine by locating and correcting Vertebral Subluxations that interrupt or disturb the nerve communication between brain and body. A Vertebral Subluxation is a bone of the spine that moves slightly out of place putting pressure on the nerves that exit through the spine. When proper nerve function is disrupted, as in the case of Vertebral Subluxation, then the body is unable to function to the best of its ability. Have your family checked for Vertebral Subluxation to ensure optimal health and performance.
